It started with a risk
In 1994, John Chen took a leap and opened a lighting store in Cabramatta. The risk paid off. Over the next ten years the business expanded across Sydney, opening nine stores in Cabramatta, Villawood, Auburn, Penrith, Bankstown and Dee Why.
Not every chapter had a happy ending. Financial circumstances meant the other stores unfortunately had to close. Auburn remains as the last one standing, and we're proud of what that means: it's a piece of history, still open for business.
What 32 years teaches you
Lighting looks simple until you're standing in a room trying to choose. Which colour? How many? How low should it hang? We've heard those questions many times, and we enjoy answering them.
